Delete my account and my data

Last updated: 5 mai 2026 · Compliant with GDPR Article 17 (right to erasure)

The essentials in 30 seconds

  • • Send us an email to hello@thermoremix.com with the subject line “Account Deletion”.
  • • We will delete your account within 48 business hours and all associated data within 30 days.
  • • No backups, no residual traces (except for legal obligations — details below).

1. How to request deletion

Send an email to hello@thermoremix.com from the email address associated with your Thermoremix account. Mention “Account Deletion” in the subject line for priority processing.

If you signed up via Google, Apple, or Facebook, please tell us which service you used — we identify your account by the email returned by the provider.

2. What gets deleted

  • Your account (email, display name, profile picture, hashed password).
  • All your adapted recipes and their original versions.
  • Your preferences (Thermomix model, language, notifications).
  • Your in-app activity history (adaptations, searches, ratings).
  • Your OAuth identifiers (Google ID, Apple ID, Facebook ID).
  • Your Stripe subscription (cancelled and then unlinked from your user profile).

3. What might be temporarily retained

Some data may be retained to comply with our legal obligations — this is mandated by law, not our choice:

  • Invoices and payment receipts — 10 years (Commercial Code art. L123-22), anonymized as much as possible.
  • Connection logs — 1 year (LCEN art. 6-II), for security and fraud prevention.
  • Aggregated anonymized statistics — no link possible to your identity.

4. Timelines

  • 48 business hours — your account is deactivated, you can no longer log in, your recipes are no longer accessible.
  • 30 days — permanent deletion from the database and current backups.
  • Confirmation — you will receive a confirmation email at each step.

5. Before you go

If the deletion is due to a specific issue (bug, failed recipe, unwanted subscription), we'd really like to know and try to fix it first. You can also simply cancel your subscription while keeping the free account. But if the decision is made, we'll delete it without question.

6. If you're not satisfied

You have the right to file a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés): www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes.
